EASTER GREETINGS

anticant, ben and the beadle hope that everyone is enjoying their Easter break.

Here at the burrow, the fishpond has been restocked with some new, colourful inhabitants. The hammock cushions have been installed, and anticant is looking forward to some sunny moments by the pond.

The friendly neighbourhood fox has taken up residence beneath the fir tree beside the burrow front door, and is now sleeping there undeterred by passers-by walking up the path.

ben is restocking the ever-popular Snug bar, and the beadle has ceased versifying [for the present!] and is painting Easter eggs.

lavenderblue has presented the burrow with a delightful Easter gift, which will be on permanent display shortly.

So what are you all up to?

Some proofreading (only a few hundred words), feeding Victor (a friends cat who purrs when he eats, bless him); then I'll be going for a nice long bike ride, after which I feel I will have earned a couple of well-deserved ales and the odd glass or three of single malt. Do you have any Tamnavulin in the snug?

I'm also looking forward to seeing lavender's gift on full display.

Oh, excuse my poor manners. Easter greetings to you and Ben, and all who grace the snug this weekend.

GlenFiddich, only.

As the Snug is a Wish Fulfilment bar - like so much else in anticant's restricted life these days - we stock EVERY brand of single malt and all other exotic beverages. Just ask.

Tamnavulin it is then - I shall be in the snug later!

Hello All,
The earth has turned and now it is morning(ish) here for me. Too much of a good thing last night I guess.
A wonderful addition to the Snug gallery you've got there guys. Great work LB! I love the cats. The orange guy looks just like our Carrot. We, that is Mimi and me, have three... Venus, Huron and the giant Carrot and all 24 lbs of him. They're keeping me company this weekend as she, the Mimi, is far off on unofficial business in the unofficial capital of Canada - Toronto, a dirty city it is, with its great dead lake. I will be keeping myself busy with the trite tunes of Il Divo. They are unfortunately in town this weekend and we, the orchestra that is, have to back them up in concert this evening. What I wouldn't due for a right good cold or flu.

An afternoon 'Cheers' to all and enjoy your sunshine and sly little foxes this Easter weekend. The sun shines here as I write, but 'they' say we're in for a 'weather bomb' tonight. It is hanging out over the north Atlantic and we're supposed to get a good bit of snow on the backside of the front. So much for Spring, gotta love Canada eh? I do, I do.
I've been enjoying your posts of late anti and thanks for enviting me over to the snug. It has lightened my mood.
Best

Thank you for the lovely comments, you have made me very happy.......
Love your story about your big cat,Ranger ! I have 2 ,PansyBaby and GurkhaPenPen.
Baby weighs in at 9 kilos , to the dismay of the vet....a lifelong diet of expensive foods does not appear to work.........
Today I let them out on the patio, they are housecats and only go out when under supervision.and right in front of my eyes,Baby, showing sudden movement, devoured a beautiful butterfly.
As for foxes,Anticant, I feed 2 ( I think ) Trot and Glove.
Trot is very busy right now, collecting a takeaway for Glove and her cubs.
Do please, make sure your fox has plenty of water.....and he might like a toy or two, a shoe, gloves......mine do, found out by leaving them outside and finding them shredded.
There is a delightful little site called UKSafari- which gives a lot of information about all our wildlife........
Mr Beadle ! My Dear Sir, I only allow Ladies and Gentlemen to sit for me, rest assured.......

Beadle - kurwa is something you hear coarse people say if they are speaking in Polish. Or, to put it another way - its what you hear Polish people say if they are being coarse.

Excellent painting, I'd have preferred to see Anticant in smoking jacket.

Can you imagine an AntiCant in white satan?
Dancing.
With Dion.
Can you?
The devil takes the stage, somewhere and sometime.

The internet is a dirty place.

Order we need say some. Order.
Long live an Anticant in mischief mood.
Fuck the Beadle until e reforms as is appropriate.
Poor old Ben is getting it from all sides now.
We look at life that way.

Clean up the blogs?

Disrespectful allusions to the Beadle will result in the withdrawal of free drinking privileges in the Snug.
