"AH DUNNO!" - 21st February

After a three-hour "mot" and overhaul by the burrow's large - very large! - computer wizard, the desktop is back in full service.

anticant had more good news from his latest hospital check-up, and doesn't have to return there for six weeks.

With Easter looming, anticant and ben have been consoling themselves with hot-cross buns. The beadle is hot and cross, after stoking the boiler and polishing up the handle on the big front door - so watch out, Zola!

Good morning Scantypants.
Put that beadle to fast.
he needs to lose weight anyway.
Starve the chap into salvation I say.

Such good news Anticant !
Happy for you..........
Will you be hiding eggs for us in the
Snug.......?

I will not.
Of course three heads are better than one but what if a person had 4 heads?
Who is to balance out the wicked beadle?

Do you suffer from the will nots?
I do.
They are those little bits of left overs that stick to the nether regions. Even with the best Izal wipes ( even with castor oil) those little tough bits "will not" go away as they say.

I suspect that our resident Beadle suffers from "will nots" just like all of us hairy mails.

Well, I like Easter......eggs and the start of Spring.
Hope.
especially for Anticant.

"I wandered lonely as a cloud...when all at once I saw a crowd, a host of golden daffodils !"

Well, not quite yet - but any day soon.

Hi Richard....
I find it so sad, so unnecessary that a host of would-be daffodils have been torn up and ruined round here
Why oh why oh why ?

Anonymous said...

Anybody tearing up daffodils in the vicinity of the burrow WILL NOT be tolerated!

Agreed.
Unbelievable, pathetic vandalism.

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vale and jungle
When all at once I saw a crowd
A host of golden daffodungles

Anonymous said...

Should that be a DOSE of daffodungles?

Anonymous said...

No

zola a social thing said...

Might that be a dose ..... ?

What are these 'hairy mails' Zola speaks of? Is it so cold up there that even the letters arrive in fur-lined envelopes?

Here at the burrow daffodils, bluebells and crocuses are well on the way and should be popping up any day now.....
